Daily Painting

The daily painting movement has me hooked! Well, not exactly painting daily, but as often as possible. It has increased my skills, confidence, and more importantly enjoyment when painting. It's amazing what you discover can be done in a sitting of just an hour or less! This post card was painted "plein air" in less than thirty minutes while my companions were fishing at the pond.

I have many more paintings on the following site http://www.dailypaintworks.com/Artists/laura-denning-6290
Enjoy.
La Javonne, Saze, Provence

We passed this private garden daily for a week in Provence. I couldn't help myself and had to snap a picture of it through the gate. It looked so peaceful and lush! The cool granite walls in shade were a perfect off set to the blistering hot day.
Good News

This view from the road on Sauvie's Island, Oregon where they farm roses, trees, and fruit was too good to just drive by without stopping to "smell the roses!"

"Bowl of Cherries on Tile"

"Mitten's World" - for Colleen.
I love the way Mitten's tail hugs the plate.  The possibility of the curtain or tail softly moving gave me a super relaxed feeling while making this one!
